It is very unwise ever to consider any container which has contained a toxic substance for use as a container for food or drink, no matter how thoroughly you think it's been cleaned.
It would be especially foolish to allow a child to drink from a bottle which normally contained a toxic liquid; a child could easily not distinguish in future whether such a bottle contained a safe drink or poison.
For the same reason, one should never store toxic substances in containers normally associated with food or drink. Tragedies have occurred when children and adults have drunk from soft drink bottles and other food containers which have been used to hold poisonous substances.
