Hello.
A period that lasts for 10 days is a little unusual hun. If this isn't normal for you, then I would see your doctor to check your hormone levels incase this is the cause for the 10 day period. But if it is normal for you, then that's ok.
Some women do detect a LH surge with a OPK after they've conceived and also detect a increase in body tempertaure. But in itself, this is no proof that conception has taken place and I wouldn't get your hopes up hun. You may of ovulated for longer than normal for you or had break through ovulation. This does happen when we least expect it.
But because there is a chance of pregnancy, you can have a quantitative beta hcg blood test don't to measure the amount of HCG present in your blood, FIVE DAYS after having unprotected sex. This is the ONLY earliest method of detecting pregnancy available and it is very very accurate. You will need to ask specifically for this test. Good luck.
After your ovulation takes place, you'll need to wait at least 10 days to take a pregnancy test and, hopefully, get positive results. Good luck!
If the question is, "Is it possible to conceive without ovulating?" then the answer is no. However, if the question is, "Is it possible to miss the subtle signs of ovulation and fertility even when charting one's cycle?" then the answer is certainly yes. If you are wondering about pregnancy, take a home pregnancy test. (Most home pregnancy tests can detect the pregnancy hormone two weeks after ovulation, or on the first day of your missed period.) If it is negative and you still haven't gotten your period a week later, repeat the test. If the either test is positive, or if the second test is negative but you still haven't gotten your period, contact your healthcare provider.
No the baby blood type will be (ao)or(oo)
Your peak fertility window is approximately 24-48 hours after ovulation. However, it is possible to conceive at any point during the month, even during your period.
It is possible to become pregnant if you spot on your ovulation days although it is not likely. Ovulation spotting is a sign that you have recently released an egg and it is possible to conceive if an egg is fertilized. There are a few steps you can take to increase your chances of becoming pregnant if you are spotting on your ovulation days: Track your cycle and ovulation carefully to determine the exact day of ovulation. Have intercourse on the day of ovulation or even a few days before as sperm can survive in the body for several days. Be sure to have intercourse frequently during your most fertile days. Eat a balanced diet and take a multivitamin to ensure you are getting all the necessary nutrients for conception. It is important to remember that spotting on your ovulation days may not be an accurate indicator of fertility and that other factors such as lifestyle and health may affect your chances of getting pregnant. If you are trying to conceive it is important to speak to your doctor to discuss your options.
Estimation: 1st day of last period Jan 3rd. Probable date of ovulation Jan 17th. Possible dates of conception Jan 13th to 21st.
No
yes it is possible
YES!! In my early twenties I hadn't gotten a period in about a year and I got pregnant for my first daughter. We now have four children and are trying for number five. When periods are irregular ovulation is still very possible; however difficult to predict. I would suggest perhaps investing in an ovulation predictor kit. Good Luck!!
Ovulation occurs when an egg is released from one of the female's ovaries. It is not always possible to know if you are going to ovulate or not. Most women who have a regular menstrual cycle might have some idea of when they are going to ovulate. Ovulation tests are designed to tell you whether or not you are going to ovulate and some women use them when trying to conceive.
The luteal phase after ovulation is typically two weeks long on average. So two weeks prior to your period lines up with ovulation when it is possible to conceive. It is unlikely to have any symptoms of pregnancy two weeks before your period. Good luck!
