It may be possible but not for a long period of time as the computer will not get a proper reading and the computer system will not go into closed loop because the coolant temp will be too cold at the coolant temp. sender. Driving with no thermostat makes the coolant too cold therefore the injectors will spray a rich wide pattern like the old choke on a cold carburated car back in ther day,Also because the coolant is not very hot minus a thermostat the combustion in the cylinders will not burn the fuel efficiently and over a little time may cause a problem with the catalyctic converter getting clogged.
Hoses? Intake manifold? Heater? Thermostat housing? Freeze plugs? Radiator? Pressure test system to help find
Get one gallon of "straight" 100% anti-freeze. Put half into another gallon container. Fill both with water. you will have plenty.
A 1997 Chevy Cavalier uses a standard 50/50 mix of antifreeze coolant and water. This keeps the engine from overheating and from freezing in the winter.
change the blower motor resistor . this controls the speeds . thanks paul
Go to autozone.com and you will find detail information on how to change the water pump on a 93 caviler.
none(but they rock)
Depends. My caviler is so stupid it is friendly. So if all of the breed is kinda stupid, no offense, than they are all friendly!
You do not, this is regulated by the ECM.
Ah.....no.
the caviler 2.2
2.2L eco-tec
It uses "Dexcool" Antifreeze. This is the "red" stuff not the green. It is a different formula and cools better. NEVER mix the two together. If you have to flush your system, pour two gallons of "distilled" water after you finish flushing the radiator. This is to remove all the mineral laden water from your block. When you fill the radiator use a 50/50 mix of Dexcool and Distilled water. This will minimize the formation of mineral deposits.
