Absolutely, they are the same size and composition as a pre-1982 penny, and were in fact used as pennies during the Civil War.
So if somebody put it into a Coin Star machine or a roll of pennies, it would pass as a regular penny, and could eventually make its way into a box of rolls that got delivered to a Walmart.
An 1863 Civil War token is worth around $50 if it's in good condition. A heavily circulated one is worth about $20, while an uncirculated one is worth several hundreds of dollars.
$10 or less.. According to ebay.
Indian Head cents were struck in 1863 but not at the San Francisco Mint. A better description an more information is needed, the coin may be a Civil War Token.
The value of an 1813 one half penny token varies by where the token originated.
So many different tokens were made the coin needs to be seen for an accurate assessment. Take it to a dealer or collector for a idea on the value.
Theoretically yes. The US had changed to "small cents" in 1857, when the flying eagle penny was introduced. Before that pennies were much bigger - about the size of a quarter, and thick. Starting with the 1857 flying eagle cent the pennies have been the same size since. Many Civil War tokens were made in the same size, some by grinding smooth a penny and engraving something patriotic on it. They are often called victory tokens. The flying eagle pennies were only made for three years, and were replaced by Indian Head pennies, which were made through 1908, when the Lincoln penny was introduced.
With the possible exception of traders tokens (with the traders business name on them), there were no "New Zealand" Pennies minted prior to 1940. Any Pennies circulating in New Zealand prior to 1940 would have been mostly British Pennies and some Australian Pennies.
All Australian Pennies were dated. It is possible you have a traders token which should have the traders business name on them. Alternatively, you may have a trick or novelty coin.
There were no Irish 1800 Pennies minted. You may have a bank or traders token.
That is not possible. In Token Ring, only the station with the token can transmit.
August 10. 2009 This is not a coin but a token. It is called a Civil War Token and has a value from $15 to $40 depending upon the condition of the token.
No pennies were minted in the UK in 1811. It could be a token.

Rome had at least three civil wars during the late republic alone. After the civil war between Marius and Sulla, the republic was restored. After the civil war between Caesar and Pompey it was merely a token form of government and after the civil war between Antony and Octavian, it ceased to exist altogether.Rome had at least three civil wars during the late republic alone. The US mints were not in operation at this time so no 1729 pennies were made. Your coin would be called a token. There are many different types of tokens.
