yes it's possible, there is a cheat for it... (but it's for PC only)
Why can you not have a child on the sims 2?
on the PS2 version? the creators just made it that way. the PS2 versions of the sims are never as good as the PC versions. if it's at all possible i recommend getting the sims 2 for your PC (or the sims 3!)

if this is for the pc,you can have 8 in total but for the sims 2 for the ps2,you can only have four.

Yup, you can have Sim werewolves. But you need the following... 1.Sims 2 for the PC 2.Sims 2 Pets (an expansion) for the PC. If you have these, follow these steps... 1. To use cheats, press Shift + c + Ctrl all at the same time 2. Type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true 3. Hold down shift and click on the mailbox, click on NPC, click more, and then click "Leader of the Pack" 4. A dog with glowing eyes will appear at the end of your lot. Greet it. 5. Become good friends with it. This will take a while. (If the dog goes away, you'll have to summon another dog and do this over again). 6. Once you become good friends with it, it will nibble you. Once it nibbles you, you will be able to turn into a werewolf at night. Werewolves can turn other Sims into werewolves and can also fight off criminals. If you don't like the werewolf, there is a way to turn the Sim back to normal, but I'm not sure how though....it deals with drinking some potion for all I know. You can also become a vampire, summon dead Sims into zombies, have plant people, and robots. But then again, you need different expansions to to have each of these... (EX. you need Sims 2 nightlife for the PC to have vampires) :'( more money to spend!! :P Hope this Helps. :)
