Is it possible to have corrective laser eye with high degree myopia like 16 diopters and higher in terms of corrective lenses?
From what my eye professional told me, NO. Usually in the range of -10 to -12 is the max they can correct with laser and offer good results. There is the possibility of reducing the myopia where you would still need to use correction, but once you have the LASIK you are not a candidate for soft lenses; hence correction must be achieved by either conventional glasses or Gas Permeable Rigid Contacts.
