Yes, it is always possible. Try to connect this person with the right people to help them. If they refuse, try to organize an intervention. Don't give up on your friend.

Fortunately many young people with anorexia do get better if they get help and treatment. They are most likely to recover completely if they get treatment as soon as the eating disorder starts. BUT some people do die from it if they get very, very thin, usually because this upsets the chemicals in their body, which stops the heart working properly. If anyone you know has anorexia, and is losing weight from very strict dieting, then please do persuade them to get help. Even if they tell you it's a secret, you must tell some adult you trust, who will be able to sort things out.

It is possible and no one should ever think about killing themselves because of gymnastics. If you hate it that much than just quit.

Others might say "well if they are not killing others then they are killing themselves" and i would disagree with that, because they are not trying to kill themselves, they only cut themselves because of their emotional pain and people are totally not helping when they start bullying them which might cause then to commit suicide.
