An iBook G3 Clamshell needs to be running Mac OS X 10.3.4 (or later) for iLife '05 to operate. Depending on the particular version of Clamshell there may be problems with the amount of hard disc space available for the iLife applications.
iLife '08 requires a G5 processor. The last version of iLife capable of running on G3 processors was iLife '05.
Garageband is part of the iLife software suite (See links below) and is included with all new Macs. If you do not have it you will need to buy it. The current version (iLIfe '11) willnot work on an iBook. You will need to find an earlier version that is compatible with your iBook - there have been several versions of the iBook.
you cant download it. YOu must order it and the package will ship to you then you install it into your computer. This sucks because i have a mac and want ilife but it costs. :(
No, there is no Garageband app for the iPod Touch. Garageband can only be accessed if you have a Mac computer that either has iLife pre-installed on it, or if you have a Mac and buy an iLife disc to install Garageband. It is a software, not an app.
ILife was created on 2003-01-07.
No
The last version of iLife that will run on Macs running Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) is iLife '05.
iLife 09 is not legally available for download nor available for free.
A boxed copy of Mac OS X (Leopard) does not include iLife which needs to be purchased separately. Apple does produce a Mac Box Set which includes Leopard, iLife and iWork. iLife is included with all new Macs.
I don't think there is a version of iWork for Windows. However, with iWork '09 now going online, it is possible that Apple will be letting Windows users use the service.
No.
