It is TOTALLY possible to start to fall in love when you are in your pre-teens but you have to be aware that the boy/girl that you start to date is looking for the same thing you are or else your relationships can go very wrong.
An adult viewpoint:
While it can be possible for older teens to be in love, but for pre-teens it'sa whole different thing. Pre-teens can thinkthey are in love, but when you talk about pre-teens you're talking about kids who are 12 years old and younger. And there is simply no way they can be in love at that age.
Being in love involves so many complex feelings, emotions, and committments,things which pre-teens don't even understand. And at that age, they are a long, long way from being ready to be in any kind of relationship, much less one in which they feel they are in love.
