There isn't exactly a way! However, there are some people who have special abilities to see into the future, including visions and dreams.

Unfortunately, for the rest of us, seeing into the future isn't a possibility!

Some believe so- I dream things that happen later in life, sometimes in a few years. Many don't believe this, and will ask you to dream up the lottery numbers or something. It depends what you believe- I myself am not all too sure, despite the obviousness if it all.

The future can be predicted or 'foreseen' in four ways: psychic ability, mediumship, divination and/or precognitive dreams.

Psychic Prediction

Psychic ability refers to the 'psychic senses' (also known as the 'clair senses'), which are different pathways of extra sensory perception (ESP). The psychic senses are basically an extension of our ordinary , physical senses. Just like animals can sometimes smell or hear things we humans cannot, some people have the ability to perceive or 'sense' things that others do not. This is more commonly known as "having the sixth sense".

People with one or more developed 'clair senses' has acute intuitive insight or perceptiveness which enables them to see, hear, feel or sense that which cannot be perceived by the normal five senses. These people are called 'psychics' and they have the ability to perceive information about the past, present and future that is beyond the normal range of perception.

The psychic senses include:

• Clairvoyance (to see)

• Clairaudience (to hear)

• Clairsentience (to sense)

• Clairalience (to smell)

• Clairgustance (to taste)

• Claircognizance (to know)

• Clairempathy (to feel)

• Clairtangency (to touch)

Psychics have an inner, intuitive experiences. So they would see things about the future in their 'minds' eye, or they would hear an inner voice or have a gut feeling, and so on. The ability to perceive the future is known as precognition or premonition.

Mediumship Prediction

Mediums have the ability to receive and relay messages from the spiritual realm (the other side, afterlife) by communicating with spiritual beings or entities, such as deceased loved ones. Mediums do not necessarily predict the future, because not all mediums have psychic predictive ability. Instead they mostly provide 'evidential readings'. An evidential reading is when the medium communicates with someone whom you have known in your life who has crossed over.

The purpose of evidential reading is to provide evidence that the the message the medium is receiving is indeed from the deceased person, and also to confirm the existence of the spiritual realm or afterlife. Evidence that mediums provide typically include physical traits of the person, personal information, the cause or conditions of death, and other details that only the loved one would know.

Psychics are usually able to intuitively perceive information about the future, while only some mediums receive messages about the future from an external spiritual or paranormal source. From time to time mediums do receive messages about the futurefrom spiritual beings. They often predict family events like births or weddings. Sometimes mediums receive messages of warning about future danger that the loved one can avoid by doing something to change the outcome.

Being a psychic medium usually means that a person has the ability to both predict the future using ESP, as well as the capacity for spirit communication. There is also a special kind of mediumship known as 'channeling'. Channelers are conduits for spiritual entities or other forms of consciousness. The medium serves as a 'channel' for one or more non-physical being(s) for the purpose of communication between the physical world and the spiritual realm. Sometimes the entity or being that speaks through the medium delivers predictions or messages about the future.

Divination

The two most well-known forms of divination is astrology and tarot card reading. Divination is the process of predicting the future using one or more 'psychic tool' or divination system. It is done using various traditional rituals or modern methods, including:

• direct observation of events (pendulums, aura readings, handwriting analysis)
• interpretation of patterns formed by objects, or on surfaces (astrology, tea-leaves, palmistry)
• selection and placement of objects with meanings assigned to them (Runes, Tarot, I Ching, Animal Bones).

Be cautious when consulting readers who use divinination tools to conduct readings. Not all diviners, dowsers and Tarot readers are necessarily psychics or mediums. Tarot card reading, palmistry, runes and the pedulum are interpretative divination techniques that can be learned by anyone. No special psychic ability is required to be able to use these psychic tools. This form of divination is also known as 'fortunetelling'.

For truly accurate divination you need someone who can not only interpret the cards or psychic tool using the standard meanings, but who preferably also has psychic ability. The gifted reader usually has one or more of the psychic senses that helps them to interpret and translate the archetypal meanings of divination tools.

Precognitive Dreams

We all sometimes dream the future. Psychic dreams (prophetic dreams, precognitive dreams) differ from our usual psychological dreams. Our normal dreams are simply an opportunity for our subconscious mind to process the events of the day, or an attempt to resolve issues or concerns we currently face in our lives. Precognitive dreams are prophetic in nature. These special dreams offer us actual glimpses into future events and outcomes.

The best way to explore your dreams, and gain greater access to its prophetic content, is too start keeping a dream journal or diary. A good way to start is to recall the last thing you saw or felt, just before you woke up. Be patient, it won't come without some effort at first, but over time, and with frequent practice, it will become easier. Review your notes from time to time. You will be surprised at how much of what you dream actually does come true later.

There are many examples of famous precognitive dreams in history. In 1865, two weeks before he was assassinated, Abraham Lincoln had a precognitive dream about his own funeral at the White House, and when the Titanic sank in 1912 several people came forward reporting they had prophetic dreams about the event before it happened. There also many accounts of prophetic dreams in The Bible. Joan of Arc predicted her own death through a dream and Napoleon's defeat at Waterloo was foreseen in a dream.

If you are reading tea leaves, cards or palms you are likely to be accurate to about four weeks, you may see up to one year ahead, but accuracy will be reduced the further out from the reading you get.

Premonitions and pre-cognitive visions tend to be pretty immediate, within a day or two, although there are cases where the visions don't come about for decades.

Other methods of scrying vary, but generally speaking as you get further away from the reading, more and more influences come into play and the reading becomes less accurate.
