I'm not one for additives but if you follow directions on the container it should be safe.
Add "Marvel Mystery Oil" to the gas and engine oil on a regular basis. Directions are on the container.
No. The fluids are entirely different.
No. The manual for the Beetle Type I's indicate that it will run on regular unleaded fuel. 2. This is not required, but you might add a little(about a quarter cup) of Marvel Mystery oil to the gas and engine oil. Helps to lube the engine valves. But don't use to much at a time... It's good for older engines like the VW Bug. I've been running my 1968 the last four years as daily transportation on 10% gas alcohol blend, only adding marvel Mystery oil occationally.
For catalytic converter cleaning just add two quarts of Marvel Mystery Oil into one quarter tank or five gallons of gas. This will clean the whole fuel system. While it is in the gas it will smoke like crazy sputter and hesitate but do not worry. This worked for me on three out of three cars with dirty catalytic converters turning on the check engine light and causing poor performance. Following my instructions will also greatly improve performance and gas mileage.
For use as an engine lubricant - no.
there is a add on for it
Anytime as long as you are adding it to the reservoir. Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot.
Your engine should be cold ( to be on the safe side) when adding antifreeze/coolant. i let the car sit overnight and then add it.
