A bleach is a chemical that can remove or lighten color, usually via oxidation. Rubbing alcohol can often be used to remove stains depending on their size. It works best with smaller stains. To remove a stain using rubbing alcohol apply the alcohol to a cotton ball and then rub the stain and the area around it. The rubbing alcohol will help distribute the original color of the clothing so that it begins to cover the stained area. This method is best used on darker colored items. Light colored items or items with larger stains tend not to absorb the color as well.

Use the rubbing alcohol to disinfect it and don't touch it when your hands are dirty. also try to keep hair care product out of the piercing, such as hairspray, mousse and the like. as that can build up and attract bacteria. i agree use rubbing alcohol. try using if after you take a shower to clean out the shampoo/conditioner and before you go to bed to clean out anything you may have gotten in the piercing during the day. dont use it too much more than that as rubbing alcohol will dry the skin out and can damage it if used too often. and again as said by person above, never touch it with dirty hands. clean your hands before you apply the alcohol so that its not a useless gesture.
