yes it is. no matter what age you are, fruit is good for you. however since it is such a(n) weightloss factor, it would probably good to eat them in moderation. if you are fat or obese and trying to get to a desired weight with them, eat 2-3 a day, until you get to your desired weight, and then once at your weight goal, eat 1-2 every 2 days, this will ensure that you dont emaciate yourself. i hope this helps
