Yes this is safe to do BUT you must be very careful. First, make sure the amount of oil that you have in the fryer isnt too full so that when you put the turkey in it will overflow. If the oil overflows it can cause a FIRE. Also - make sure that your turkey is FULLY thawed before trying to fry it. If you do not fully thaw your turkey before frying it you will have an oil explosion and FIRE!
Most deep fryers are safe to use indoors. The best thing to do though is to check the specifications when you are shopping for a deep fryer to make sure it is an indoor one.+
A 4.3 pound turkey should be cooked in a fryer for at least 13 minutes. The turkey should have an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
The answer depends on how big your turkey is. Assuming you have your oil up to temperature (350 degrees), its 3 - 4 minutes per pound. So for a 12 pound turkey (anything larger than this is very hard to do, its much harder to put and remove the turkey from the deep fryer, its hard to find a deep fryer large enough, etc.) its about 45 minutes. The turkey will come out of the oil a darker brown color than you have ever seen on an oven roasted turkey, and it will have the most amazing delicious smell you've ever had from a turkey!
Probably not. But it will fit in most ovens.

If you are deep frying a whole turkey you should not go over 12 or 13 lb. because it takes 3 1/2 minutes per pound and cooking a heavier bird will result in it being overcooked or blackend on the outside before the bird is done on the inside
