As long as there are no mites or bacteria, sure. Rodents love to chew on sticks and such. I'd also recommend dog biscuits.
NO!! Washing your gerbils with water can give it several diseases. Few gerbils survive baths. If you would like to bathe your gerbil, buy Chinchilla Dust (made from volcanic ash, is safe) and put it in a container for your gerbils to run around in. If your gerbil HAS to get something off (like a sticky residue from food) you can use the very tip of a slightly damp cloth but IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS make sure to dry your gerbil off COMPLETELY. Also, I would recommend getting a new, better gerbil book (like the Discovery Channel one)
THERE IS NO OUTDOOR WEATHER SAFE FOR A GERBIL! If your gerbil is outside, it can run away or get eaten by a hawk or something! Maybe if you put it in a ball outside in the spring or fall, but you'll need to stay with it the entire time it is outside. But putting a gerbil outside unprotected is really dangerous, even if you are right there.
Pita bread would be OK for a gerbil. As long as it is unsweetened and unsalted.
you must wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles. Firstly place the gerbil in a clamp with its hands tied behind its back and always use a gerbil muzzle so not to be bitten at any stage. Now its safe to cut your Gerbil.
If I were you i would stick with rohypnol.
Yes you can feed your gerbil sultanas, but only as a special treat. You may give them sparingly as this may cause obesity! Other treats can include: biscuits, currents, raisins, bread, boiled potatoes, toast and some breakfast cereals. But to be on the safe side the first time you give your gerbil a sultana check that it doesn't stick in its teeth or that it doesn't like it.
You can bring a dead glow stick back to life. Put the dead glow stick in the freezer, leave in there for at least 3 hours, then take the glow stick out and 1) put it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds no more than 25 seconds (may be dangerous) or 2) put them in a glass of hot/warm water until they start glowing again (safe). . You can repeat this process over and over again, but if the glow stick has been dead for 3 or more days then it's too late.
Gerbils can (and should) live with a gerbil friend or two of the same sex--that's it. No other animal is safe to live with a gerbil in the same cage or tank.
I own a gerbil, rat, guinea pigs, and other pets. I was searching the net this morning trying to find some consistent info on whether this is ok. My gut tells me it is safe. Most people on Yahoo Answers are saying it is. A few say to stick to the plain ones-not the colored. I think it is fine. Rodents need to chew. If you're worried I would keep an eye on him/her with it. In case your worried, none of my rodents have ever choked on wood. (not that I have seen) There is even gerbil agility and rat agility equipment that is online and some hurdles are made out of popsicle sticks! I believe the site is gerbilagility.com Google it for info.
yes and no you will have to watch your children with them in-case they stick them down there throat and REAL knives are defiantly NOT safe your child might stab their selves with the knife don't give it to them
No!
Take it to the veterinarian, to get checked out. Better to be safe than sorry, you don't want it to get infected.
