It depends on your age and how responsible you are. Only add people you know, be 13 or over and make sure you don't post anything offensive :-)
You can't
AIM is safer since only your friends can see your info and you are only talking to your friends. People do tend to chose facebook over AIM. Ithink facebook can be less safe, and more safe. if you let all of your information out, it is less safe because everyone can see it..... if you make your photos and info more private (just to your friends... or better, no one!), then you are safe with facebook... hope this helps!
:) yeah facebook is well safe for kids in high school
It can be safe and unsafe depending on how you use it.
It is a good idea to update your Facebook profile using Timeline software. You can use this software to make sure that you share only the information that you want to share. This will protect your identity and it will protect you from online predators. Facebook is very safe if you know how to use it correctly. The software will make it easy for you to stay safe while you are on the Internet.
I think that both sites are safe. You can make them as safe as you want. If you wan't to remain safe on Facebook or Twitter, do not post personal information (i.e. phone numbers, email addresses, mail addresses) or post photos that may reveal too much.
Yes, Make sure you accept friend requests as well.

if the child has a facebook , myspace, ect. you can make them give you their password because it will help you out with making them to stay safe
it is very safe if you use the correct security procedure!
