Yes, it is safe to place a fan behind a PlayStation 3, or any console for that matter AS LONG AS it does NOT restrict the airflow from behind the console.
It is recommended that the console is kept at least 10 cm away from a wall surface and is used in an open, well ventilated space.
should be right behind the fan drive safe
Yes.
place it not too close to a wall for the best result. You could also put a bowl of ice behind it to get the fan to inhale the coldness then exhale. :)
If it is still in the same place as a '93, it is behind (near the connections of) the Battery.
the PS2 slimline does overheat because there isn't a fan inside it, the larger PS2 does have a fan and will not overheat
behind fan, bolted to front of engine block
it is a fan or simple cooling device , they stop your console overheating
Currently there is no external cooling fan for the Playstation 3. To keep the unit cool, have it elevated off the ground.
take the fan out and behind the fan there should be a chip.
Is it the fan behind the radiator, or the fan that blows air into the cabin?
Yes, it is safe to use a fan for this. Jet fuel is not easy to ignite.
