take the fan out and behind the fan there should be a chip.
It's spelled Jaguar.
On relay bracket on center of firewall in engine compartment. It is on the left side (drivers side), center
The blower motor relay is located under the hood right next to the blower motor near the firewall.............
Yep. Had the same problem on my 86. Changed the fan, sensor and relay. If you jumper the outer terminals on the relay connection you can tell if the fan works. If it does fine but the signal to 'throw' the relay from the ecm isn't working.Check with a test light for this signal. If ok replace relay.
where is the 86lockout relay on a turbine
If its anyhing like the one i just bought 86 plymouth reliant/chrysler K car the fan relay is on the drivers side under the hood there are 2 silver topped boxes mounted just above the battery the one on the right looks at the motor from the front of the car is the fan relay not sure what the other one is
does anyone know where the horn relay switch is on a 86 chevy S10?
I have a 86 camaro with a 2.8 L . The cooling fan relay on mine is located above the brake master cylinder and is bolted onto the firewall with two 9/32" bolts. There are two relays beside each other and the one for the cooling fan is closest to the fender. If you disconnect the harness from the relay, you can use a wire to jump across the hot terminal to the others one at a time until the fan turns on the check that this is the correct relay for your car.
cooling fan relay has gone bad or coolant temp sending unit is bad
Double-check first by turning on the air conditioning. The fan should come on immediately. Use a volt light or multimeter and check that there is voltage on the switch (relay). On a 95 Chevy Cavalier, the relay is under the hood inside a black fusebox. The location is labeled "COOLING FAN" on top of the fuse box. The black cover pops off, and the relay can be unplugged easily. Pop out the relay and check the contacts it plugs into to see if there is voltage. There is a schematic on the side of the relay showing which pins (30, 85, 86, 87) do what. Make sure the fan works by shorting pins 30 and 87, where the relay switch would normally short. The fan should spin up. If it doesn't, then the problem is the fan. Otherwise it's a problem with the relay or the sensor?
The timer relay for glow plugs on a 86 Jetta is under the steering column. It is located in slot ten.
No. Only the right rear pulls.
