Hi, This can be caused by a polyp in your uterus. See your doctor for a examination.
4 years ago, I had a hysterectomy. I kept my ovaries, and my cervix. I found out recently, there is a mass and it is the size of a uterus.. If another fibroid, will I need surgery to remove it? how can one prevent having them reoccur?
20 years
Nope - the natural fluids present in the uterus kills off the sperm after a few days.
the flow of blood from the uterus once a month in the female. commences about the age of 13 years and ceases about 45 years.
rectal polyps can reoccur after being removed. you are normally asked back every few years for a check up. They dont disappear on their own
A male cannot have a hysterectomy. A hysterectomy is the removal of the uterus, a female organ. Unless your husband was born with a uterus, he could not have had one removed.
If you leave the copper IUD in too long, there are no potential health problems. If you leave a hormonal IUD like Mirena in too long, you may not be protected against pregnancy, but there are no other risks.
Currently no. However I read this week that two women (I think in Scandanavia) are 'borrowing' their mothers uterus as they have severe problems with child bearing. The doctors have no idea if it will work This is very much in its infancy and I suspect it will be many years before it is widely available even if it works.
this is not normal in a woman of this age, and should be referred to a doctor ASAP. It might be a easily solvable problem, a polyp or similar, but can have much more serious causes.
If you aren't having periods, then it's quite unlikely that you will get pregnant.
Hysterectomy is the removal of uterus. As natural menopause is caused by the gradual failing of the ovaries this is when menopause occurs.
