Yes, you can. Completely safe.
For the first 24-36 hours, you should not get your wound wet and should, in fact, try to leave the initial dressing in place. My instructions to patients is this: leave the dressing on for 24 hours. After that 24 hours, you may leave it open, get it wet, even wash it gently with soap and water. Now about swimming, that is usually fine after 36 hours or so. If the wound was complicated to close, you may want to contact your physician first. Regardless of if you swim or not, you should remain watchful for signs of infection: redness, swelling, pain, drainage, or red streaks extending toward the heart from the wound. If you notice any of these, you should contact your physician as soon as possible for a recheck.
Swimming outside - so outdoor swimming in some kind of lake or river.
maybe, because there might be dangerous animals and plants in there.
I would say its just as safe as being not pregnant. However, lakes a very nasty. Filled with parasites.
No they will nibble your toes it will tickle and you will drown from laughing underwater.
lake rotarua
There is only one place where it is safe and legal to get down to the lake edge. It is the Cleetwood Cove Trail, which usually opens mid to late June. Visitors are welcome to swim in the lake from the shoreline at the end of this trail. The temperature of the surface of the lake only gets into the 50's in Summer so it's pretty cold.
Swim
No, it is not. Technically speaking it is safe to swim near the surface, however at about 60ft below oxygen runs out and it becomes toxic. So, long story short, no it's not safe. Correction: I beg to differ. So long as the swimmer (one who is not using scuba gear) remains on the surface, it is safe to swim. If one finds themselves down 60 feet in the lake without any breathing apparatus, I'm sure then that the issue of safety is no longer an arguable point. Of course, swimmers should never swim alone in waters that are not overseen by lifeguards and watch out for any broken glass by the shores.
We went 2 the lake 2 swim.
