No, when you store batteries in a cold enviroment it increases the chance that they will leak battery acid. Battery acid is very difficult if not impossible to clean off of surfaces. Therefore if you were to store food or whatever else in this fridge you will probably die. Therefore I highly suggest that you dont re-use a fridge that had batteries stored in it at one point in time.
