Yes. Yes it is.
Jellyfish are extremely simple animals. They do not even have blood, a heart, or even a brain.
jellyfish have no bones, exoskeleton, or shell to protect or support them. The jellyfish is considered simple-bodied because, like its Cnidarian cousins, it has no head, brain, heart, eyes, or ears. Thus it is also lacking in the sensory systems that correspond to these organs.
They don't even think about it; no brain.
Yes, they have both a brain and a heart, But their brain is very small and their blood is not red like Humans.
Not very, they don't have a brain, so they can't think or anything like that.
Essentially, we would presume that a jellyfish would not know or think about what it's doing. A jellyfish would go on its instincts. You have to remember that a jellyfish still has neurons, but it will not have a center of control of these neurons (which we call the brain). Thus, the jellyfish would not think to attack another fish and eat it, its neurons will simply react to the closeness of a fish and engage the jellyfish in this behaviour of killing and eating its pray. It is done pretty automatically. However, I do not know if the jellyfish would be able to learn with no brain. It can adapt to the environment, but can we make it learn specific behaviours?? So basically jellyfish are like robots, they run on autopilot.
it means a concentration of nerves like having a brain. Jellyfish have an equally distributed nerve net, without a specific concentration of nerves. They are not cephalized.
no there are other kinds of jellyfish that can kill humans like the Irukandji.
No silly. They swim peacefuly in the water catching their food so they can eat.
The heart.
Yes- The brain, like everything else in your body, needs oxygen, nutrients, and water which is brought to the brain by blood. There is no way the blood could get there without the heart.
You will need to chick on these links to see the differences between heart, skin. brain and lung tissues.
