Technically the term "explosion" for soda is inadequate. A true explosive reaction is not possible.
No, you will not explode- you will burp like a cow. If kids exploded from eating Pop Rocks and drinking soda, the sidewalks would be covered with exploded kids- and there don't seem to be any exploded kids on the sidewalks here.
Soda drinks contain carbonation, which is a chemical reaction that forms gas. This is particularly true when the soda is shaken and when the soda is fresh.
actually nothing really happens. all it does is make crackling noises because they are dissolving and when they dissolve the carbon dioxide inside of them explodes had to doing it for a science experiment) i thought it would explode or do something cool but actually it was kinda boring. To be honest, I don't think that ^ is true. Look.. I am saying this because I am do a science fair project on this. I need these materials;* a 16 ounce bottle* a drink (any kind]* a balloon (don't blow it up]* pop-rocksNow, how I start this out is:I was going to get the 16 ounce bottle and pour the drink into a tall cup. (keep the bottle]Then I was going to clean the bottle, and then place the pop-rocks in the empty bottle. (pour]Next I was going to pour half of the drink back in the bottle. (leave the pop-rocks in the bottle while pouring the drink, don't take/pour them out]Then while the drink is reacting to the pop-rocks (that pop] I would put the balloon on the (part that you put your mouth on where you drink the drink] and watch the balloon and see if it gets bigger. Then take notes.I was then going to take pictures and put down some research I found (and was going to put them in MY own words]Then finally turn it in.
Not really, but if you eat like 5 or 6 mintos, then drink a full can of pepsi, then your stomach will probably explode
Kel loves orange soda. It's true. Mhmm.
This urban legend has been around since at least 1969, as I recall. It is no more true now than it was then.
Fanta is a soda. If you drink too much soda, you might get diabetes from all that sugar. It can also be bad for your teeth. Try drinking water instead of such high calorie, sugar laden soda.
true
Sort of, it doesn't explode but shoots up. Myth Busters did a show on this to find out if it was true. They measured the amount of soda that shot up out of the bottle. It didn't explode, but did shoot up. ____ If you accept the definition of explosion is a violent release of energy through a chemical reaction, then yes they do explode. The Mentos react violently when released into coke and create a spectacular reaction.
they explode
