Yes and no. The Theory of Evolution and other scientific advances do disprove the biblical creation stories, but these were already disputed by Origen (On First Principles, 3.1.1) in the earliest years of Christianity:"Now what man of intelligence will believe that the first and the second and the third day, and the evening and the morning existed without the sun and moon and stars? And that the first day if we may so call it, was even without a heaven? And who is so silly as to believe that God, after the manner of a farmer, "planted a paradise eastward in Eden", and set in it a visible and palpable "tree of life", of such a sort that anyone who tasted its fruit with his bodily teeth would gain life: and again that one could partake of "good and evil" by masticating the fruit taken from the tree of that name? And when God is said to "walk in the paradise in the cool of the day" and Adam to hide himself behind a tree, I do not think anyone will doubt that these are figurative expressions which indicate certain mysteries through a semblance of history and not through actual events."

Although the biblical creation has been shown by science not to be true, it is still possible to believe that God (or in fact any creator god) created the world through the process of evolution. Science sees no need for a creator god, but does not rule out his existence.

How is it true that the position of Darwinism disproved the divine creator and the discourses of the ionian philosophers?

Contrary to a popular notion, the Darwinian theory (Evolution) does not prove or disprove the existence of our Divine Creator. There are people who profess Old-Earth Creationism, which holds that God made the universe and then guided Evolution over long epochs. In repudiation of Evolution, Young-Earth Creationism holds that God created the universe and living things relatively recently without the use of Evolution.See also the Related Links.Link: Evidence for CreationLink: Can you show that God existsLink: God's wisdom seen in His creations

Protestant believers who strongly resisted liberal Protestants attempts to adapt to Darwinism?

I think that you could be referring to two groups, the Creationists or Intelligent Design folks, or the Fundamentalists. The Fundamentalists disagreed with several ideas of the liberal Protestants, not just evolution. Some of the areas of conflict were what it means to say the Bible is inspired, whether Christ was born of a virgin, and whether or not Christ is fully divine.

Who said Darwinism was used to justify European imperialism in Asia and Africa What idea was used?

In the 1800s, Social Darwinists took Darwins theory of natural selection and used it to justify imperialism by believing the most ñsocially fitî white races had the divine right to dominate the ñlesser racesî. This belief allowed colonialists to believe that it was right that they should seize and enjoy riches while the inferior races languished in poverty.

Is it true that the position of Darwinwinism disproves everything about divine creation and the great talks of the Ionian philosophers?

No. Evolution simply shows that the Bible is not a perfect historical record, which we already knew anyway. It makes no position on the existence of deities.

What is religious determinism?

The idea of divine determinism comes from the postulation that the divine is omniscient (all-knowing). If the divine is omniscient, then the divine must know everything. If the divine knows everything, then the divine knows everything that has happened, is now happening, and will happen. If the divine know everything that will happen, then all events must happen the way that the divine foreknows them. If so, we arrive at the idea of divine determinism, which is the idea that the divine determines every future event. The problem is that this allows no room for human free will. Why? If everything is foreknown, then there is no contingency. If there is no contingency, then free will is an illusion.

As we see the boundaries of our scientific knowledge expand daily is scientific discovery pointing more toward a Divine Creation of life or away from it?

If it were pointing toward a divine creation, it would also be pointing to the complete irrelevance of faith. This would be a serious if not insurmountable problem for some faith-based systems. What is the need for faith when confronted with concrete evidence? On the other hand, no amount of science however widely expanded it is can ever disprove creation. So there isn't much evidence of a changing pointer. However, the expansion of discovery may be pointing away from the authoritative position of the accepted creation accounts in the scriptures of some faiths. The scientific discoveries themselves point neither toward nor away from divine creation. The interpretations that are placed on the discoveries by most scientists point away from God. For other scientists, the same discoveries either indicate an unspecified supernatural origin to life or specifically point to creation of life by God.
