You could be getting mixed up with the story of Lord Carnarvons dog, Carnarvon was one of the people involved it the discovery of Tutankhamens tomb.
A few months after the tomb's opening tragedy struck. Lord Carnarvon, 57, was taken ill and rushed to Cairo. He died a few days later. The exact cause of death was not known, but it seemed to be from an infection started by an insect bite. Legend has it that when he died there was a short power failure and all the lights throughout Cairo went out. His son reported that back on his estate in England his favorite dog howled and suddenly dropped dead at the same time that Carnarvon died.

No it is not true if he had died!
Yup, cats have been mummified just like humans...kinda gross, but true
so they can go to the after-life and live and they mostley bring some stuf with them so it goes with them to the after-life
If you can make it work - "tried an' true", sticking "true" in the next line. Or something like: da da da da what Bryden knew, that da da da was tried an' true. If you're not too picky you can use tried in, died in, etc.
A true climber always climbs higher the next time.
Suspect: a) she found a true lover, and b) her little girl was of an age to be interested in mummy's occupation. Good luck to her
yes its true
