No, it's not true, they DO kill chickens. They have killed two of my chickens so far. I live in Oregon, and I've seen it, it's the Cooper's Hawk, AKA Chicken Hawk, that's been doing the killing. There are other varieties of raptors that are also called Chicken Hawks, depends which region you live in.
I will add that I just lost a guinea in my chicken coop...completely surrounded by wire on top and sides...to a cooper hawk as well. How did I verify? I found the guinea's head lopped off and the hawk in the nest doing its work! I stabbed it with a pitch fork and did this search. I live in Nebraska. I had never seen this done inside a coop before. I found a chicken dead in the same manner a week ago at dusk (free range) nesting outside the roost.
im not sure, but the longest recorded flight of a chicken is 13 seconds so maybe all chickens fly i dont really know :)
My chicken does, i dont know if its good for them or not

chickens and rare. i really dont know
yes! but dont blame me if they pass out...
Sorry, I don't know much about turken chickens except that they are NOT a cross between a turkey and a chicken. Also that if you live in a cold area, it will not affect them differently from a normal chicken. turken chickens are really transylvania naked neck. they WILL be affected diffrent in cold climates. they have a lot less feathers even though they dont look like it. for such a large bird they seem to get along even with our banty hens.
chickens are smaller than humans and have 4 legs and humans have 2 legs.
i really dont know but i read a book called danny the champion of the world and it said that chickes go mad for: raisins i really dont know so i think you should not do it!
Where do think they sleep? Just because they dont have a bed with an electric blanket and drink a glass of milk before bed like all you mummas boys doesnt mean they dont have a bed. Clearly you have never been to a chicken farm. Chickens sleep in a chicken house!!
Actually, yes, chickens do eat meat but they dont get rabies and kill people. My chickens have eaten dead mice and small things like that so dont know why some one would say THAT about chickens. Chickens that are allowed to roam outside in farmyards eat a lot of insects, which are animals. Some forms of chicken feed contain bone meal and meat byproducts, so yes, they would eat meat.
