No it is not Satanism. It is a Cristian based fraternial society for men and has nothing to do with demonic worship. I my self am a Mason in the state of Texas. We are a non-profit organization and we do charitable events and raise money to give to people who are in need. Also many of our nations presidents were masons such as George Washington, Andrew Jackson, even Benjamin Franklin and John Wayne were also Masons.
