There are no facts on what happens after death, if heaven exists there or not. If you believe in it you believe in it. The Mormons can be right or they can be wrong. Clearly other religions would not agree with them.

As for what Mormons teach regarding this, the answer is NO. Mormons believe that as God loves all mankind, He wants to allow as many as possible to return to him and live with him in heaven. They believe that a huge majority of people will go to heaven, and only a very small part will be damned. They also believe that people may accept the gospel of Jesus Christ after death, before they are judged. In fact, the whole reason Mormons build temples is so that they can be baptized for those who have died. They believe that if they are baptized for someone who is dead, that person will have the opportunity to accept the baptism and and be saved. Yes, we do. After Christ Comes again

Where do people go after their physical death?

This is more of a religion question. In my religion (Mormon) we go to a spirit world, and then to heaven.

After reading or hearing The Secrets of Mormons book does it say they go to heaven?

I could find no record of any commercially published book called "The Secrets of Mormons". Perhaps you have the title wrong? There are many anti-Mormon books with similar titles, but obviously an anti-Mormon book would not say that Mormons go to heaven. If you'd like to learn about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) from the source, please visit the "Related Link" below.

What religion contrasts with the Mormon religion?

Many religions contrast with Mormonism. Mormons believe that there are three levels of heaven, when many other Christians believe there is only one. Mormons believe that people have the ability to become gods after death, when some other Christians believe that is blasphemous, making themselves above or equal to Jehovah. Some "fundamentalist" Mormon splinter groups believe that there are no limitations to the number of spouses one might have, when many other Christians believe that you can only have one.

Are children you have on earth basically other Mormons waiting to come down from heaven or?

Well, if you have children on earth they are not waiting to come down from heaven, since they have already come down from heaven. Nobody can be a Mormon without being baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which could not happen without their knowledge and consent. So - no, unless your children were baptized Mormons, they are not Mormons.

Is the Mormon a good religion?

Whether or not it is a good religion or the true religion is a matter of opinion. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that Jesus Christ is their Savior and He suffered and died so that those who accept Him will return to live with Him in heaven for eternity. Mormons believe the purpose of life on earth is to become more like God, and strive to follow the example and teachings of Jesus daily. They believe that God is our loving Father and Creator, and that He reveals His will to His children through the scriptures (the Bible and the Book of Mormon) as well as through prophets and to individuals. Mormons tend to have conservative moral values and emphasize strengthening families and personal relationships. You can check out the official websites for the Mormon church by visiting the "Related Links" below and decide for yourself if it is a good religion.

Are the shaytards Christians?

The Shaytards are Mormons. How do I know? -When they went from California to Idaho the stopped off in Utah, and visited the Mormon temple. -They have a lot of kids -They cross their arms when they pray, a lot of Mormons do that. -Shay went somewhere for 2 years when he was in his early 20s. Most likely a Mormon mission. -Unlike other branches of Christianity Shay and Katilette believe that they will be married in heaven. -They had a picture of Jesus above the door in their house, a common Mormon practice.

When did the Mormons' doctrine start?

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) believe that their doctrine is the doctrine and gospel of Jesus Christ. It started in heaven before the earth was created, when God the Father presented a plan in which all His children (mankind) would come to earth to gain experience. Mormons believe that Adam and Eve, the Old Testament prophets, the early New Testament Christians, and the peoples mentioned in the Book of Mormon were all practicing the same religion they now practice.

Do Mormons believe in past lives?

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that life is eternal - we existed prior to this mortal life and will exist after this mortal life. This is not considered to be multiple lives, but different stages in one life. Mormons believe that all people lived in heaven with God prior to being born on this earth, and that we will return to heaven to live with God again after we die. Mormons do not believe in reincarnation or the idea that you may live multiple lives on earth. The only 'past life' was in heaven with God, and the only 'next life' is in heaven with God (or, for some, in hell with Satan). Do Mormons believe knowing a Jew will help them get into heaven?

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that "there is no other way nor means whereby man can be saved, only through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ" (Book of Mormon, Helaman 5:9.
