The keyboard is an input device. It is used to "enter" information. The output device is where the information is seen, heard, or felt. In computers, the monitor is an output device.

Is it true that an output device that visually conveys text would be a monitor?

Yes, it would be true.

Is it true that input and output devices perform the same function?

No. Input devices are those devices which help us to give a command or data to a computer, for example Keyboard. While output devices gives us data, for example Monitor. In the case of some devices, they can act as an Input as well as output device at the same time, like Touchscreen Monitor.

Which Device acting both input and output?

The most common example of a device that acts as both input and output simultaneously is a touch screen monitor for a computer. The display of data makes it an output device while the ability to send signals to the computer via touch makes it an input device as well.

Is an example of an input device?

A mouse is an input device.Very good. This is a good example of an input device. An imput device is any signal that is introduced to the receiver. The mouse is a plug-in physical signal. But there are wireless signals as well. You can have a wireless mouse. It has a pre-set wireless signal and when the computer recognizes it, it works. The receiver is an output device. When you add an imput device to a radiio, or an amplifier or a channel receiver, you are adding a signal to the receiver. The receiver recogniizes the signal and responds accordingly. If it does not recognize the signal, nothing happens. The receiver cannot process it. When you turn the dial on your radio or tv, you are changing the signal electronically. So it is true when you add cable to your tv. this gives you imput signals. Your tuner reacts accordingly. Change the imput, change the channel.

True or false the line in connector is a socket used to attach an audio source?

Difference between Nor and Nand gate flip flops?

NAND is Not AND, meaning that if both inputs are true, the output is false.Any other combination (Including 0 0) does not change the output and it remains true. It's the opposite of AND, in which both inputs must be true for the output to be true.NOR is Not OR. If at least one input is true, the output will be false. It's the opposite of OR, where the output is true if at least one input is true. The main difference is that NOR requires at least oneinput being true to make the output false, where NAND requires both to be true.

What is system logic?

A positive logic system will output true only when the input is true. A negative logic system will output true only when the input is false. The NOT logic gate is an example of a negative logic system. That is, NOT( false ) will output true.

Why is direct entry preferred over keyboard entry?

Although we normally associate direct input with touch screens, it is not true to say that touch screens are preferred over keyboards. Unlike hardware keyboards, virtual keyboards do not provide any form of tactile feedback, for instance. However, as voice controlled devices continue to improve, the need for keyboard entry will diminish. After all, why would you type a letter when you can simply dictate it? However, there are obvious areas where direct input excels over keyboard entry, such as graphic design through light pens, and smart phone technology. With traditional keypad phones, there's just one physical input device with small keys and a relatively small output device. But with touch screen technology, input and output are combined and the interface becomes adaptive, more intuitive and more direct.

What is negative logic system?

A positive logic system will output true only when the input is true. A negative logic system will output true only when the input is false. The NOT logic gate is an example of a negative logic system. That is, NOT( false ) will output true.
