Well, right now I don't know how to answer your question straight forward so I will do it the best I can. Okay here it goes.... Allah is the Almighty, he is the creator of all as everyone knows. If Allah wants something to burn then with one command from him and the thing will burn. In the Quran it says that

Everything happens by his (Allah's) s.w.t. command. Not one leaf falls without him ordering it to fall. Not a muscle in your body moves unless Allah has told it to move.

So basically everything is done by his command and if he wanted the light that he sends down upon us during the day to burn everything than it will burn.
