The biggest offender would be a Cathode Ray Tube picture tube in a traditional TV. I am not aware of any house hold appliances that would fall into this category. Even in a CRT TV you wouldn't get shocked by touching anything outside the TV, like the power cord. You would have to be messing around inside with the picture tube. However, from personal experience I was thrown across a room by messing with an unplugged TV picture tube.
A capacitor is a device that stores an electrical charge, or if you prefer- resists any change in voltage applied to it. Capacitance is a measure of the size or ability of a capacitor to do that. This is the Farad
Power factor characteristic in a capacitor is a measurement of how efficiently a capacitor uses electrical energy.
Capacitor is a noun, as in a person, place or thing. It is an electrical device. Ex: The capacitor failed and has to be replaced.
A capacitor
Phase difference.
A Battery or a capacitor.
The primary reason for a capacitor bank in an electrical substation is for power factor correction. There may also be some secondary purpose for the capacitor bank but the primary reason is power factor correction.
A metal film capacitor is an electrical part that holds energy electrostatically inside of an electric field. The capacitor has a dielectric which separates two electrical parts which are made out of thin film.

A capacitor!
Capacitor is connected parallel to the line which serves as power factor correction, increase line efficiency, voltage stability and reduced line losses and voltage drop.
A capacitor is an electrical or elctronic semi conductive material which have the ability to store electrical charge and discharge when needed, and also used for timing a circuit and finally used for filtering in a circuit. A capacitor is made up of two plates seperated by die-electric strength or material. Thanks
