No, it is not true. The pillars of Islam are:
1. Believing in the ONENESS of Almighty God, having no partner, no off-spring, no parents, nothing like Him, and giving testimony of the the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah Almighty be upon him).
2. Offering Salat (Namaz) five times a day
3. Paying Zakat 2.5% of the yearly saving (Conditional)
4. Keeping fast during the moth of Ramazan.
5. Performing Hajj once in life (Conditional)
NB: The confession of sin before a priest may be a belief in Christianity. A Muslim confesses his sin before Almighty God, feels ashamed and begs His forgiven. Almighty God is kind, merciful, loving, oft-Returning, Oft-Forgiving. A Muslim does not propagate his sins. It should remain between him and Almighty Allah Karim.
