I think there's only fifteen, but these are the only ones I know. There's one in the room where there's those fish tanks,its in one of those little boxes on the wall ( you'll see what I mean when you see them). There's one in the room where you change characters, Mario Yoshi etc. Jump in the painting of princess peach on the right, and there's a slide that you have to slide down.

Not that I know. I have looked at the bottom screen to check for them but there are no paths there that I don't use. And once I get to the end of the slide I always go into 1st person view and check for any hidden exits and there aren't any. :)

One way to get the second star is to race like normal, but when you come to the first big hill, you jump off to the left. This should land you right on the track, but much lower down. To get to the slide, go to the ground level, and go up the stairs, and take a right. There will be a door with a star and a 1 on it. Go through the door, and jump into the windowsill on the right. Walk through the windowsill, and you will arrive at the Princess's Secret Slide.
