When you die your hair and nails do not continue to grow.
People probably got that impression because the body 'shrivels up' a little after a while which makes the nails and hair appear bigger by comparison.
Not by any important amount.
To grow, the body needs to eat, breathe, take up and distribute nutrition. And dead bodies don't do any of that.
Now, teeth in particular may well look longer when the gums dry up and pull back, and a little of the same can happen to hair, but that's about it.
(if you're really specific, not all cells in the body die exactly at the same moment, so it's possible that the hair sacs might continue working for a little while. But not enough to make any measureable difference outside the cellular level.)
Your fingernails continue to grow for about a week after you are dead.
They don't really. It just looks that way due to the shrinking of the surrounding tissue. They did a bit perhaps long ago when some cultures did not embalm their dead.
No because when you die, all your cells in your bodie just die which means nothing can grow.

That is not true.
Yes, nuts do grow on trees. Peanuts do not because, technically, they're not true nuts. They are legumes, which is what peas are also classified as.
Absolutely not, there is a myth that the hair and nails continue to grow, however this is not true, what actually happens is the skin shrinks a little giving the impression that the hair and nails have grown a little.
dehydration of the body after death can cause retraction of the skin around hair and nails, giving the illusion that they have grown. All tissues require energy to sustain their functions, and no such thing is possible once the mechanism that promotes normal growth shuts down at death.

TRUE.
true!
No that is not true. What is true is that when you wash your hair it is best to rub your scalp and get the soap in your scalp. That is what makes hair grow faster.
Knox gelatin improves my nails after 1-2 weeks. I still don't know exactly why. I use 1/3 packet plain Knox gelatin in water a day. Without it my nails are so weak that common tasks like opening a necklace clasp will cause the nail to split.

That Is NOT True At All!
No, it is not true. Cologne has no effect on hair growth. Hormones do.
