Actually everyone does this in one form or another. There are even Cartoons about it with an angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other. The thing is, usually the real you knows the right answer so I usually figure that if I am arging with myself, I'm about to screw up. I stop arguig and go with what I feel is right. So, No it is not weird. We all do it whether we admit to it or not.
