40 Year Olds can indeed date 18 Year Olds, despite the age gap. Generally, such age differences are seen as 'unpleasant', but the Law only has issues when someone of 18 Years and Over dates someone younger than 18. This is because if an 18 Year Old (someone considered an Adult in UK society) dates someone under this age, it can be classed as Paedophilia. Because someone of 18 Years of age is an Adult, just like the 40 Year Old, it is left at the 18 Year Old's discretion as to whether they date this person, as they are legally viable to make their own decisions and look after themselves in wider society. ADDED: Same applies in the U.S.
YES! There is nothing illegal about dating. Any sort of sexual contact could be illegal, depending upon the state or country. And morally it just isn't right.
hell no it ain't good for a 16 yrs.old to date a 20 yrs.old no no no
Not really in most states the age of consent is 16 or older.
ermm i suppose you can but it would be wrong
If that's what your both into then there's nothing wrong with it. Noone can tell you who to date !
It would be dumb to get on the wrong side of the parents. Legally they can date.
I'm 17 and I am dating a 15 year old girl. I don't think that there is anything wrong with it.
Nope!.............................. Just wrong, and if the boy is 16 and the girl is 12 then its just sick. BUT if the boy is 12 and the girl is 16 then itss kinda cool
It may not be "wrong" to date, however any physical contact could lead to criminal charges and a felony conviction as an adult.
No, not if he loves her and treats her with respect, and she is emotionally mature enough to handle the relationship.
No it is not but it doesnt mean she should date him because he is more experienced then her and she is to young for things like that!
Not Legally, but if you want to date you can date.
There are no laws regarding dating. A single year difference in ages is hardly worth noticing and I wouldn't say there is anything wrong with it.
