I would say that if it meant something to you then ...No it was not wrong to be mad. I would ask the question if you were in this relationship with someone... wouldn't you choose someone who cared enough about what you thought? It's different for men because there brain has no concept of time, and do not cherish little things. But if he knew and still did nothing then that was down right rude.
