it all depends on what part of you are changing. clothes or a hair style wont make a big difference and you may like it after the change. but changing your whole personality can be a bad thing.
think about this, if you think changing for someone would make them happy and you do it the wrong way, you're only hurting them and yourself aren't you?
if you know exactly what they want, don't change yourself, only try new things. like if they really wanted someone who liked the same movies; give them a try and you might like them on your own.
if we're talking about change personality wise, depending on how much you care for this guy and where your relationship is going, sometimes it's not a bad thing. yes, changing for a complete stranger is bad! it's wrong cuz it's getting into a lie from the beginning. but if you have a history and it's for the better happiness of everyone then it's ok as long as you are happy with yourself in the end.
in short, it's only ok if it's for the good. don't go and do drugs for a guy! that's WRONG!!! trying to be more positive and open for them is a good change everyone can benefit from.

Don't kid. When I was in sixth grade then I liked this boy. So I changed myself to where I thought he would like me. Well, my friends liked the old me, and we haven't talked since. + He never asked me out! Don't ruin your life like me. Wait wait dont think i'm a loser i got a new crowd and know just nicer people like me so it's not a horrible thing but i <3ed my friends and never wanted to ruin it and know i did :(
