its ok, but not recommended especially for this breed. cavaliers are the friendliest lap dogs ever and just long for your love. they will be extremely saddened if you leave them the whole work day alone. what i would recommend is come in the middle of the day(lunch break) and just be with him/her for a little bit or send it to a dog daycare (which can be expensive) . Or, invest in another cavalier so your cavalier won't be lonely. this way actually might save money in the long run( as opposed to dog daycare) . good luck and take good care of your pup.
