It's the most common simply because the habitat is an animal's shelter and it's habitat is usually near it's diet.Which means when people build a house somewhere in Asia where a red panda might live, we kill the native plants (bamboo) and everypart of that ecosystem. Then the red panda must find a different area for shelter and food, and they starve to death in the process, what really makes it common is because this can groups of animals.

It depends on the animal. If it is being hunted for food or animal parts then that may be the main reason.

If it is not hunted, then loss of habitat will be the main reason animals become endangered.
