it is a producer
Carnivores are better at catching their prey
They are decomposer, producer, predator, consumer, prey I'm not to sure about prey and predator it cud be scavenger and predator instead!!
Not unless their prey is vegetation. However, there have been instances where herbivores have become predators: Pika, in herbivores like cows, is a nitrogen deficiency that drives cows to turn to eating meat or eating rabbits to satisfy this nitrogen craving. Icelandic ponies have been reported to have turned to catching fish and eating them, probably due to the same craving for nitrogen.
Any organism can be prey, as long as it is hunted by another organism. Prey doesn't usually hunt for other mobile organisms, usually being a herbivore. Prey may also be known as a producer occasionally. E.g., a rabbit is prey when being hunted by a fox, as the rabbit is a herbivore.
Buffaloes are herbivores, they do not prey on other animals.
Orangutans are herbivores. They do not have prey.
Wallabies are herbivores. They do not have prey.
Almost every producer is a prey to something else and has a prey of something else.
Elephants are not predators; they do not prey on anything. They are herbivores--vegetarians.
