there's no definition of cool, as it is centered on opinion. if you think it is cool, go for it. i think it's cool. those who don't think so should keep that to themselves because it ain't their business to tell OTHER people what is and isn't cool.
marching band is for nerds. its for people who don't have a life and decide to spend their time walking in circles with their instrument a.k.a your best friend. just my opinion. i mean if you like walking in circles in front of big crowds who all make fun of you go for it!
(to the answer above) that all may well be so, but from what I've seen, marching band is ALSO for people who treasure music and rhythm, and cherish it as one of their life's aspects. From what I've seen, it is for people who have more than one best friend, and their instrument DOES happen to be one of them. From what I've seen, it is for people who can communicate, inspire, and leave great remark upon others through the indescribable power of music. From what I've seen, those who make fun of this just don't understand it, and shouldn't shun it until they are worthy to do so. So yes, go for it! (or let a few nasty opinions hold you back from your "crazzzyy" ambitions) but that's just MY opinion, of course...lol
Well, it depends on who your asking. That question is really an opinion. Cheering looks fun and peppy, but marching band is cool too. But its still an opinunated question.
