In Antarctica there are research stations which have people living in them throughout the harsh Antarctic winters, at similar temperatures to Mars. So Humans could survive the temperature on Mars, as long as we were living in some sort of protective building that shelters out the cold. However, without some sort of heated protection, Mars would be too cold to live on.
