For a drug test involving illegal substances, and abuse of prescription drugs, methocarbomol causes no problems. If you are worried about the discoloration of your urine to either black or green (one of the listed side effects) don't. The odd color of your urine can be explained to the persons giving the test. If they are skeptic, or you don't want people to know you are taking the drug, simply let them observe you. This way, they know that you haven't tampered with your sample. For medical urinalysis on the other hand, whether you need to stop taking the drugs depends on the test being done. If you actually hold a prescription for methocarbomol ask your doctor or the laboratory doing your tests before you stop taking the drug. If you do not have a prescription for methocarbomol, simply using the substance may change levels of different things that the lab is testing for. Once again, ask the lab and/or your doctor if your medication will interfere with the testing being done. Should you not want to speak with your doctor or the laboratory about the medications you are taking, the sooner you stop taking them the better your chances are that your tests will go back to normal. You could safely say a minimum time is a week, and maximum time is a month.
