Mushroomhead was NOT "signed" in 1993. They had been independently releasing their music. They played their first show on October 22nd 1993. Days later, the octet found itself on stage alongside established metal band GWAR. (I was there, pogosticks and cabbage!)Why can you not like them both?Slipknot's first live performance under the band name "Meld" was played on December 4, 1995 at a club called Crowbar in Des Moines.Mushroomhead was heavily pursued and offered deals by RoadRunner records, all of which included losing profits from their merchandise among other issues. Coincidentally, RoadRunner signed Slipknot.I don't understand the people that do not listen.
