Yes they are, but they are also screamo, electronic, and experimental.
Sure. I was at a concert for this one screamo rock band and they did a cover on the veronicas' untouched it is to this day stuck in my head so elec, screamo and rap is a very good idea in fact. and besides you can join any kind of music together go look at mathcore and dubstep that is like the very end to what can be considered music. (i base this as music must have a mathematical rhythmic pattern whereas mathcore and dubstep does not)
Flyleaf in their song I'm So Sick, the girl does some screamo
Howard Jones era Killswitch Engage if you class that as 'screamo'.
Apparently, yes. I'm not too much into that style of music myself, but attached is a Facebook thread discussing screamo in Norway. (Unfortunately in Norwegian, but there is always Google translate, and I assume you will recognize band names in any case.)According to their "best screamoband" thread, votes go toOrchidLouise CyphreZannAmpereThe Flying Workeramong others.
saving molly. tookoo.
hahaa there isn't any sorry dude?
If you're talking about the technical definition of "screamo", they don't have any. But songs where Lacey does scream are: I'm so Sick, Cassie, Sorrow, I'm Sorry, Breathe Today, the original version of Justcie & Mercy, Tina, Chasm, The Kind, In the Dark, Swept Away, and the older, live version of Fully Alive.
Well these are Christian rock bands: Paramore and Flyleaf. Another Christian emo band is ravish... myspace.com/ravishrocks or at facebook.com/ravishrocks
Depending on what you mean by the word "screamo," you may or may not be able to find what your'e looking for. If you mean what the word truly means, which is a very specific genre of music more technically known as "purist hardcore," then it might be very difficult to find a band of that genre with any country influence. However, if by "screamo," you mean any music with screaming vocals, it may be a slightly easier task. There are countless subgenres of metal that feature screaming vocals that you could explore, however, I'd caution you to keep your search in only American metal. Metal originated in Europe so there's plenty of European metal out there, however, it will be impossible to find any non-American metal with American country influences. The band that immediately comes to mind here is a Christian heavy metal band called Demon Hunter that does display a slight southern influence, but either way, they're an awesome band! check them out!
