no, they are 2 different medicines that do the same thing. both naproxyn & mobic can gastrointestinal problems; by taking both you are increasing this risk which can cause abdominal pain & internal bleeding.

Mobic (meloxicam) and naproxen treat pain in the same way. The real value of Mobic is that it is easier on the stomach than many other pain medications. If you can take naproxen without stomach upset you should take that and not waste your money on Mobic. If naproxen upsets your stomach then the Mobic may be more tolerable. You should not take them both.
