I wouldn't recommend doing so - Neosporin is a triple antibiotic ointment or cream that includes at least one antibiotic that is extremely toxic when ingested. Since dogs are notorious for licking away every cream, lotion and goo placed on their skin, you would risk a serious medical reaction if you used Neosporin on a dog's skin.
The good news is, keeping the skin clean, dry and exposed to the atmosphere does a lot of good in clearing up rashes in dogs - simply clipping the hair close with a men's beard shaver and keeping the area dry can go a long ways towards resolving issues like hot spots.
Answer: I'm pretty sure it does. I guess it depends on what the quantity of it was. Like if he/she ate a whole tube of it, then i'd recommend bringing them to the vet. But if it was just a little I wouldn't worry about it.
Do not use Neosporin in your dog's eyes. Neosporin in is somewhat irritating when placed in the eye. It can lead the infection to become worse and can delay the period of time in which it takes your dog to recover.
No,You do not know how it could react on a dog.Humans and Dogs Have Different Effects with medicine your dog has a cut, take him/her to the thank You For Asking
Yes as long as its where the dog can not lick it off
you should never, ever use human ointments on animals, because they affect animals differently. if your dog is really hurt, contact a veterinarian.
i would go ahead. couldn't hurt. all neosporin does is heal it so i think you're good :)
Neosporin is NOT a pain reliever - it is an antibiotic. I would not administer it to a dog without a vet's advice for any reason.
Im not sure
yes if it is for a cut or sore
Only if your dog has licked your neosporin.
Yes Neosporin is safe to use on a dog's ruptured anal sac. You can also use baby wipes to wipe the dog's butt or any medication that the vet prescribes.
No, it may do more harm than good, don't mess or guess with any animals eyes.
no it will make it very sick and might kill him/her.
If you have minor burn then you can use Neosporin on it. But when the burned area is large and severe then one should not use Neosporin. The Neosporin is only applied to the external areas.
The tube of Neosporin doesn't say to use it on puncture wounds, so you don't use it on puncture wounds.
Neosporin if its where they can`t lick it if its where they can lick it call the vet and get medicine from him/her that won`t hurt your dog
Yes Neosporin is a good medication to use if your Beardie has an external sore or injury

You should not use neosporin as a lubricant. You should not use neosporin more often than absolutely necessary. MRSA ("Staph Infection"): http ://thechart.blogs.cnn.com/2011/09/14/mrsa-in-u-s-becoming-resistant-to-over-the-counter-ointment/
