Nurofen plus is a safe product when taken as recommended, several years ago I was in an accident that caused permanent damage to my lower back, sometimes the pain is unbearable ! I take 2 Nurofen Plus tablets when needed usually a couple times a week and I'm good to go. American doctors are so paranoid in prescribing opiate containing medications its ridiculous. When someone has chronic pain and medication is the lternative then so be it ! I've been taking this medication for 6 years and feel good, my doctor performs periodic blood tests and this medication has had no adverse affects on my health.
Like any drug I guess it can be abused if it falls into the wrong hands.
