There are no bad Dog Breeds, only bad owners! I've seen very gentle pitbulls playing with kids and trying to lick me to death, while my friend's shiba inu dog was nearly killed by a golden retriever in an unprovoked attack!

Do pitbulls attack humans?

No, it's the way people train them. Blame the deed, not the breed. Pitbulls are very loyal and sweet dogs, it's the people who make them mean and train them to fight. And people shouldn't do that. That's very sad.

Are pitt bulls more vicious then any other dog?

Not necessarily. They are more blindly loyal to their pack leader, four-legged or otherwise. As such, they will do more on behalf of their human, and tolerate more abuse without lashing out. Unfortunately, this means that they attract the sort of humans that should NEVER be allowed to own dogs in the first place. But as a dog breed, no, they are not intrinsically more vicious. Just more likely to be abused. yes and a breed of dog isn't 'vicious' it depends on the verry dog itself not the whole breed and how that dog is raised if its raised with love most likely it will be a nice dog but if its raised abused and misstreated it is more likely for it to be vicious.

Why you should never own pit bulls?

That's a crock. Pitbulls are no more dangerous than any other breed of dog - statistically, it's your pointy eared dogs (German Shepherds, Akitas, Huskies/Malamutes, etc.) which are more likely to attack.

When did people start making pitbulls fight?

As pit bulls tend to be a very aggressive dog breed, the first documented pit bull attack is difficult to locate. The breed has existed as early as the 19th century and that is likely when the first pit bull attack occurred.

Have pit bulls really bitten more people than any other breed?

First, "pit bull" is not a breed. It is a group of several different breeds. And no. Each of the individual pit bull breeds do not attack more often than any other breed of dog.

How do you spell docson?

The likely word is the dog breed dachshund (also capitalized Dachshund, the wiener dog).

Where did the term top dog come from?

Dogs were (and likely still are) trained to attack and bring down bears. One dog would be trained to jump on the bears back and attack the back of its neck, whilst the other would attack it from underneath. The "under dog" was far more vulnerable than the "top dog" hence the terms.

Which is the meanset dog?

No dogs are inherently mean. Abuse and poor socialization can negatively affect the temperament of a dog. The most dangerous dogs are those that are not properly cared for, trained, socialized, housed, and fed. Breed makes little difference. It is impossible to know the likelihood that any dog of a particular breed will attack, because it is not possible to know the number of dogs of a particular breed that exist. If you don't know the total population of a breed, you can not calculate the percentage of those dogs that have attacked. Existing dog bite statistics are highly misleading, because they do not take into account the popularity of a breed. If a breed is more popular, it will likely make up a larger percentage of total dog bites. But that does not say anything for that particular breed's likelihood to bite. a pit bull they are the ones who will actually eat kids lol
